Oracle Fp&a Technical Director

Insight Global is looking for an experiences Oracle FP&A Technical Director to join our large Casino Operator client's team here in Las Vegas. As the Oracle FP&A Technical Director, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle FP&A solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and enterprise architecture. Your role involves engaging with business stakeholders, technology leaders, and Agile teams to understand and address their requirements, fostering open communication and trust. You will provide in-depth technical expertise, manage configurations, perform technical dependency analysis, and support upgrade and patch management, incident management, and unit testing. Overseeing data integration tasks, you will ensure efficient data processing and develop reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Oracle Essbase tools. Additionally, you will create comprehensive documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure stakeholders can effectively utilize the FP&A solutions. Your problem-solving skills will help anticipate and address complex issues, while your coordination between finance and technology teams will ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements. Continuous improvement efforts will focus on optimizing the control environment through automated controls and supporting internal and external audits.

Proven record of multiple successful Oracle EPM and Essbase Cube implementations.

Extensive experience in Oracle EPM and Essbase cube implementation.

Proven ability to partner with business process owners on data matters related to internal control / financial reporting activities.

Expertise in designing and developing reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Oracle Essbase tools.

Experience in data integration tasks, including ETL processes, and performance tuning for efficient data processing.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems.
