Job Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Planning Manager to join our team! As a Event Planning Manager, you will work closely with our clients and wedding couples to bring their vision to life. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. If you have a passion for weddings and social events, are extremely organized, and can balance multiple tasks with ease, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Manage all logistical aspects of social and wedding catering, including timeline creation, vendor coordination, and staff managementWork one-on-one with clients and wedding couples to understand their vision and preferences, providing expert guidance and recommendationsConduct detailed walkthroughs and tastings to ensure every detail is executed flawlesslyAnticipate and exceed guest expectations, ensuring an exceptional dining experienceCollaborate with our culinary team to executeCoordinate with external vendors, such as wedding planners, coordinators, and venue staffManage wedding day setup, execution, and breakdownEnsure seamless communication with wedding couples, vendors, and internal teamsMaintain accurate records, reports, and timelinesWork efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlinesParticipate in rotating manager on-duty weekends throughout the yearEducation And Skills
High School Diploma / GED. Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of (3) years in hotel or conference Catering / SalwaFamiliarity with Salesforce, Delphi or equivalent softwareProven track record of successfully managing multiple events simultaneouslyExceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail, with a focus on quality and excellenceStrong problem-solving and conflict resolution skillsAbility to think ahead, anticipate needs, and take initiativePolite, friendly, and professional demeanor, with a warm and approachable personalityFlexibility to work weekdays, weekends and evenings as neededKnowledge, Skills And Abilities
