HYBRID REMOTE in ARIZONA
This role is performed hybrid remotely and overall has flexible scheduling for work-life balance. However, this role is expected to travel to various sites and adaptability is needed in order to support all programs fully.
OBJECTIVE AND POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services will be responsible for overall clinical / psychiatric programming and service delivery. Existing programs include residential, out-patient, school-based behavioral health, SMI services and programming, and trauma recovery programming. This position is accountable for the continued success and growth of existing programs as well as expanding service lines to provide a comprehensive system and continuum of care. Moreover, the role includes developing leaders, oversight of fiscal responsibilities , and creating opportunities for growth. The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services will ultimately be accountable for the quality of services as well as ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, contract regulations, timely reporting, and appropriate utilization and use of funds. This position will work alongside program leadership to establish and guide a strategic vision and guiding philosophy that will inform short and long-term goals of programming. The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services must uphold agency mission and collaborate with managers, program directors and other team members. Duties will include supervision, monitoring, evaluations, working closely with funding source(s), and interacting with compliance, quality, and billing departments as well as the development and implementation of new programs that fall within the integrated health model.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services oversees programs in various cities and may require travel to program locations. Work schedule is subject to change. This position directly supervises a team of Sr. Program Directors. Additionally, this position indirectly oversees all IHHS program staff including approval of staff hires, evaluation, disciplinary actions and employee discharges.
SPECIALIZATIONS
The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services must have demonstrated skills and abilities in a management capacity relevant to the integrated health model, specifically in creating and sustaining infrastructure in support of health and human services within a nonprofit organization. Must be proficient in budget management and analysis and have a demonstrated history of contract compliance. Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership. Must demonstrate awareness and sensitivity to cultural issues and community practices of low income and at-risk families, including dual language speakers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Must be an independently licensed behavioral health professional in the State of Arizona, which includes one of the following licenses issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) or Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners :
The license must be current, active, and in good standing with the respective board.
