Speech-Language Pathologist (full-time)

This is a permanent full-time Speech Language Pathologist position in a school. Job follows the regular school calender with all school holidays and breaks off.

Competitive salary.

The qualified candidate will work with students in grades 1-12 in our Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. They will provide individual and group services to the students, and collaborate with classroom teachers to make and ensure goals are developed and used in the classrooms. He / she will also participate in CSE meetings and form collaborative relationships with the parents.

Independent school experience preferred.

New York State Speech / Language Therapist certification required.

Knowledge of the cognitive, linguistic, and developmental needs of special education students.

Therapists are also expected to participate fully in the life of the school, be a team-player, a supportive colleague, and contributing member of the professional community.
