Responsibilities Work in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center within the Interventional Radiology unit Perform both outpatient and inpatient procedures for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients Wide acuity level of patient population Procedures utilize single and biplane Siemens radiography units Work a 4x10 hour day shift schedule, Wednesday through Saturday, from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM Call required one weekend per month and 1-2 days per week Uses McKesson PACS and Cerner PowerChart, with Cerner experience preferred Floating to other areas and serving as Patient Observer (sitter) may be required Responsibilities include supporting a variety of IR procedures for diverse patient age groups Must be able to float to different units and serve as a Patient Observer when needed Modules and orientation will be completed onsite and may be required annually Employee is expected to work 50% of holidays and 50% of weekends during the contract term Locals are accepted but must reside more than 75 miles away for standard travel rates Return travelers within 18 months do not require re-orientation Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience required, with at least 1 year in Interventional Radiology Experience supporting both neuro and body IR procedures MO or Compact state license required if applicable Proficiency with Siemens radiography equipment Experience with McKesson PACS required; Cerner PowerChart experience preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615089.
