First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Red Bluff, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift : 12 hours, nights

Requirements :

  • Active RN license
  • BLS and PALS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience in specialty care
  • Pediatric experience preferred (required to care for pediatric patients)
  • Experience with Cerner EMR system
  • Ability to administer and titrate Heparin and Protonix drips

    • Unit Details :

  • Trauma Level : 3
  • Scrub / Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs
  • Orientation : Unit / department-specific orientation provided
  • Floating : Optional to Telemetry or OB units if experienced
  • Charge Nurse : Team lead; does not carry patient assignment
  • Nurse Aides / Techs : Available for 8–10 hr shifts; no tech coverage 1 AM–7 AM
  • Tele / Monitor Techs : Nurses are not required to read or interpret telemetry strips
