Civil Engineer, PE - Project Manager

Engineering Consulting company is a leading provider of water resource engineering and environmental science services, currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for a senior project manager position at our Lakewood, Colorado location. The company offers the benefits of a small firm while providing a diverse range of technical services, allowing team members to be involved in various projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of office work and field time.

Qualifications

  • Civil Engineer or similar with PE license
  • Professional engineer license preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience
  • Project management and staff coordination skills
  • Strong field / construction background
  • Knowledge of geotechnical engineering and / or hydraulic gate systems preferred

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and construction expertise, technical oversight, and overall management of water storage reservoirs and conveyance facilities related to water supply.
  • Prepare and review design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Manage projects, including planning, delegating work, managing budgets, invoicing, resource allocation, and reporting.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers.
  • Work both in office and at local project sites.
  • Manage projects, staff, budgets, schedules, and clients.
  • Prepare reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and designs.
