moonrise. is currently in search of a Water Resources Engineer in Collin County to join a mid-sized consultancy that specializes in stormwater and water resources design solutions.

- Review submitted flood insurance revisions and evaluate submitted engineering hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analyses to ensure that the analyses are technically accurate
- Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D for the development of design plans and grading plans
- Complete assignments within the scoped budget and timeframe as assigned
- Use of various H&H engineering software as well as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software.
- Floodplain mapping using the results from the hydraulic analyses along with digital terrain data.
- Prepare technical documents related to work projects
- Meet with clients to evaluate progress of projects
- Assist in hydrologic and hydraulic calculations
requirements.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environment;Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities;1-3 years’ experience in site / civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion is desired;Familiarity with relevant standards, Codes of Practice & current design methods;Proactively working towards Incorporated or Chartered membership with ICE;Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Master's preferred;Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.US Citizen or Permanent ResidentPlease click 'Easy Apply' to apply directly, or contact info@moonrisegroup.org for more information.
