Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking experienced CRNAs to provide full-time locum tenens coverage in Boise, Idaho. This assignment includes a mix of scheduled shifts and extended call coverage in a large, high-acuity hospital. Providers will work under a supervision-based anesthesia model (max 4 : 1) across a wide variety of surgical specialties, with strong compensation and long-term scheduling stability.

Assignment Highlights

Schedule :

40 scheduled hours per week (mix of 8s, 10s, and 12s)

One 24-hour shift and one 16-hour shift per week

Schedules published in 6-week blocks

Call :

1 weekend call shift per month

2 weeknight call shifts per month

Option : 1 Saturday + 1 Sunday every 3 months instead of one call block

Case Mix : General surgery, ortho, neuro / spine, plastics, lungs, GI, structural heart, EP, endoscopy, interventional radiology, MRI.

Excludes : OB, open heart, sick pediatrics, burns, transplants.

Procedures : Spinal blocks required; may occasionally place arterial lines (not required). No epidurals or central lines.

Trauma : Level II trauma cases required

EMR : Epic (preferred experience)

Patient Population : Adolescents, adults, geriatrics (90%+ patients over age 12)

Scrubs : Provided by facility

Skills & Experience

Board Certification (NBCRNA) – required

Idaho license – required (open to licensing)

DEA – required

Idaho CSR – required

Minimum 1 year CRNA experience (6 months considered)

Epic EMR proficiency preferred

Comfortable managing Level II trauma cases
