Taco John's has a position open for an Assistant Manager / Restaurant Manager. This full-time position supports the General Manager (GM) and is in charge of the restaurant when the GM is not present. Most of our positions have a senior position attached to it. If during the interview process, we feel that you are a better fit for the senior position, we will let you know.

Located at : 2600 Ingersoll Ave, Des Moines, IA

Responsibilities include :

  • Helps with the daily operations of restaurant
  • Aids in the hiring and training a great team
  • Manages all areas in front and back of house
  • Ensures food quality
  • Manages food and labor costs
  • Guarantees the team provides great Customer Service
  • Maintains exceptional cleanliness of the restaurant, inside and out

    Requirements :

    Education and Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum of 2 years' restaurant management experience preferred
  • Food service experience a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and build a great team
  • Must be reliable and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
