• Required : Sign-On Bonus for external candidates with minimum of 1-year current LPN experience. Internal candidates who transfer to bonus eligible positions do not qualify. Bonus paid over a 14 month period of continuous full time employment.

Summary :

The LPN will provide direct and indirect care to patients working within a team model of care under the direction of an RN and in collaboration with PCTs.

This additional role within the unit will help meet the current needs of our patients by providing additional care givers that are currently unavailable in the current market.

Required : LPN license, BLS certification

Control Hours : 24.00

Work Shift : 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am alternating weekends

Responsibilities :

Other information : Medical knowledge

Knowledge of Infection control practices

Prefer experience in a clinical setting

Must complete an approved medication course and 40 hours of supervised medication administration including verification, preparation and administration of medication in accordance with department policy

Knowledge and proficiency in EMR documentation systems

Knowledge in CT DOH nursing practice requirements

Education :

Completion of state approved LPN program

LPN license ( pass NCLEX-PN exam)

BLS certified

1-2 years recent nursing experience
