Essential Functions :

The Patient Care Technician works on basic care for adult and geriatric patients needs including comfort, hygiene, safety, environmental cleanliness under the supervision of professional and practical nursing staff. Completes documentation of patient related tasks. Performs all functions delegated by the nurse staff and adheres to the policies, procedures, and scope of practice.

Patient Care :

• Assists the nurse in collection of data used for assessment of patients conditions as assigned, including vital signs, weights, blood glucose monitoring, I&O, etc.
• Assists with the patients hygiene, nutrition, and personal care needs.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
