Senior Associate Attorney – Litigation (General Civil)

Location : Pasadena, CA (Hybrid / Flexible Schedule)

Compensation : Commensurate with experience

Direct Counsel is representing a professional law firm in search for a Senior Associate Attorney to join its General Civil Litigation practice . The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation experience, the ability to handle high-level work from Partners, and the drive to contribute to the Firm’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Handle a broad range of general civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Receive and manage assignments from Partners while maintaining billable expectations of 1,800+ hours per year .

Engage in business development efforts to generate and expand client relationships.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys or staff, contributing to the Firm’s culture of collaboration.

Draft and argue motions, manage discovery, attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.

Qualifications :

6+ years of general civil litigation experience .

Strong track record of managing cases and client relationships.

Ability to meet or exceed billable hour requirements .

Demonstrated business development skills with potential to bring in new clients.

Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Excellent analytical, advocacy, and communication skills.

Compensation :

Salary range is $170,000 - $180,000 per year plus bonuses
