Job Summary :

We are currently looking for a Director of Investment Accounting in either our Warren, New Jersey headquarters or our New York City office. This is a hybrid position working 3 days in office, 2 remote.

In this role, you will interact and support several aspects of accounting, financial analysis, and reporting for the group.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Accounting and reporting of investments on a U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory basis.
• Support the management of the monthly and quarterly investment close process.
• Preparation and or review of various U. S. statutory investment schedules.
• Preparation and or review of various U.S. GAAP investment disclosures.
• Supervision of the reconciliation of investment related cash accounts.
• Support local reporting of foreign branches and subsidiaries.
• Coordinate with financial reporting and investment management teams.
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls.
• Research accounting issues for new investment structures and coordinate any changes required in workflow and operations.
• Assist with the review of fair value of investments and related impairment analysis.
• Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses along with account reconciliations.
• Assist with ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects determined by the needs of senior management.

Work Experience and Qualifications :

For NJ and NY Only : The base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $165,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
