Sales Agronomist / Agronomy Operations

Pay : $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Job Description :

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team to oversee our Fertilizer Operations and work with sales and management teams on positioning of product offerings to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations of fertilizer shed facility.
• Dispatch and load out dry fertilizer.
• Invoicing of products loaded out daily.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through making farm visits and helping producers do crop input planning and professional advice on their agronomy needs.
• Coordinate daily planning of spreading customers fields.
• Inventory management tracking of fertilizer inventory and contracts.
• Working with Management on positioning of fertilizer.
• Working with Team to promote current and new products to customers.
• Help train current and new employees as needed to service customers better.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance products knowledge and sales techniques on all Fertilizer, Chemical, and Seed.

Skills :

Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture related field preferred but not required.

Agronomy Operations preferred equivalent experience.

Strong skills in inventory and operations management.

Highly self-motivated and willingness to learn new products and ideas.

Valid Driver's License. CDL Preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with focus on customer engagement.

Willingness to help other employees and customers.

Ability to organize schedules for more efficient workdays.
