Position Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivables, with a strong preference for Cost Accounting experience. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making.
Senior Accountant's Key Responsibilities :
- Perform and review monthly Bank Reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and maintain Fixed Assets records, including depreciation schedules and asset tracking.
- Oversee Accounts Receivables processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.
- Support Cost Accounting functions, including inventory valuation and cost analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Provide financial insights and reporting to senior leadership.
- The Senior Accountant will contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
- The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- The Senior Accountant will support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- The Senior Accountant will mentor junior accounting staff and share best practices.
- The Senior Accountant will participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed.
Preferred Qualifications of the Senior Accountant :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Demonstrated experience with Bank Reconciliations, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Receivables.Cost Accounting experience is highly preferred.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.Why Join Us :
