Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant to work at a facility in East Peoria, IL. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate : $35 / hour.

Job Summary : As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
