Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Days Facility : Samaritan Medical Center Location : 830 Washington Street, Watertown, NY 13601 Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 4, 2026 Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Days – 3x12 Hours (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM) Schedule : Weekends, holidays, and occasional charge duties required On-Call : No Position Overview This is a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN position at Samaritan Medical Center. Nurses will provide intermediate-level care for acutely ill patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions. The position requires strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills. Candidates must have prior travel experience and be flexible to work weekends and holidays. Local candidates within 60 miles are not eligible . Previous Samaritan staff must have a minimum 2-year break in employment and be eligible for rehire.
