NPL Relight Tech / Plumber
At NPL, we build and maintain natural gas infrastructure that keeps communities running. We're currently hiring Plumbers and Natural Gas Relight Technicians to join our construction crews. These roles are critical in safely installing, maintaining, and servicing natural gas systems for residential and commercial customers.
Our Plumbers perform master-level plumbing work on underground and in-home natural gas pipelines, supporting construction projects that require the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities :
- Examine and test gas piping systems for safety and compliance
- Relight customer gas services, relocate meter set assemblies, and perform hot-changes
- Apply for and pull plumbing permits; review plans / permits; communicate with customers
- Join piping by means of fusion, electrofusion, or mechanical coupled joints
- Perform and record QA tests and measurements on equipment
- Other responsibilities as directed by leadership
Our Relight Technicians are integral members of the crew, ensuring safe and reliable service to our customers by servicing, repairing, maintaining, and relighting natural gas lines and equipment.
