Oncology Clinical Assistant
The Oncology Clinical Assistant provides support to all of our cancer patients in clinical and office functions of the department. Duties include direct patient contact, maintaining office systems, and providing assistance in various clinical functions and procedures. The oncology Clinical Assistant will help support the Cancer Care Team to keep the patient experience consistent across all service lines.

Education and / or Experience
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before individuals or groups of people.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate basic figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have thorough knowledge in computer information systems.

Work Environment

Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. This position is required to travel with their assigned physician to their work location.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, approximately 8 hours per workday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Salary Range : $20.50 - $23.50 / hour
