Overview
Lemaire, the acclaimed restaurant at The Jefferson Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Part-Time PM Server Assistant / Food Runner to support our evening service team. This role is ideal for someone who is guest-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in an elegant, fast-paced dining environment. By assisting servers and running food from the kitchen, this position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth service and an exceptional dining experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist servers in providing exceptional service by clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, and delivering items as needed.
- Support overall guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Anticipate the needs of both guests and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Deliver food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring correct presentation.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to confirm dish details, modifications, and timing.
- Coordinate with servers to ensure food is delivered in the proper order and to the correct guests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to support coordinated service.
- Perform side work and closing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a full-service restaurant preferred but not required.A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality service.Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Punctual, dependable, and willing to take initiative.Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights for extended periods.Traits of a Successful Candidate
