Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading a team to develop robust strategic launch and business development plans for Tissue Technologies franchise across EMEA. The role includes the development of financial, promotional, and educational programs in EMEA to ensure revenue growth and optimize the growth potential of existing and new product launches.
  • Strategic marketing : Design regional strategic marketing launch plans along with regional sales organizations, tailoring the plan for local dynamics in line with strategic positioning and opportunity prioritization.
  • Aggreate regional marketing analytics and intelligence to inform opportunity assessment and input into global research needs.
  • Develop and sustain regional revenue plans with regional sales leadership and management in the field.
  • Build evidence generation requirements strategy in collaboration with clinical affairs.
  • Commercial execution : Develop marketing tactics and related marketing collaterals for local dynamics to support sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop the appopriate marketing tools and programs to support the sales force for executing their revenue targets.
  • Identify market opportunities for regulatory prioritization based on market opportunity and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain working relationship with quality for continuous improvement as well as any field actions.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and performance metrics to track progress against revenue targets and market access goals.

Team leadership

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement with formal and informal continuing education.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to fellow non-direct reporting Product Managers and Marketing managers on portfolio planning, market segmentation, product positioning, and launch execution.
  • Commercial Execution

  • Develop marketing tactics and related marketing collaterals for local dynamics and ensure alignment with global strategies to execute revenue targets.
  • Develop regional revenue plans with regional sales leadership and manage field execution.
  • Define regional pricing with commercial leaders.
  • Create strategies to develop HEOR and market access in conjunction with market access.
  • Prioritize opportunities / input into global research needs.
  • Develop regional revenue plan with regional sales leadership and ensure alignment with local market needs.
  • Establish revenue targets with KPIs for the franchise within local and regional teams.
  • Provide oversight to NPIs and input to PDI, pipeline priorities.
  • New Product Introduction (NPI) / Lifecycle Management

  • Serve as liaison between global and local teams to ensure market opportunities and regulatory requirements are addressed.
  • Aggreate regional market analysis and insights for NPI and lifecycle management.
  • Provide oversight to NPIs and input to PDI pipeline priorities.
  • Ensure cross-functional support for NPI and lifecycle management across regional teams.
  • Qualifications

  • Active demonstrated that they have built programs around technology cross-over and / or developed new markets or innovative surgical techniques.
  • Relevant educational background (BA, Marketing, Economics, Engineering) with experience in global marketing / brand leadership roles.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, and additional languages are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the Medical Device industry in a sales or marketing function.
  • In-depth experience in a sales / marketing role in medical device or related field, with a track record of revenue growth.
  • International experience – preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in cross-functional teams and matrix organizations.
  • Ability to lead and execute complex multi-functional projects.

  • Collaborate with sales training on marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with Professional Education on marketing strategy and KOL management

  • Active, strategically targeted marketing and brand leadership experience
  • Strategic planning and market access knowledge including pricing and reimbursement strategies
  • Develop and implement tactics to support sales force with resources to reach revenue targets
  • Develop HEOR and market access strategies in conjunction with market access
  • Spectrum of competencies in cross-functional leadership, customer insights, and lifecycle management
