Overview
We're looking for an experienced Payroll Manager who thrives in dynamic environments and loves making sure every paycheck is accurate, timely, and compliant. In this role, you'll oversee the entire payroll process for a diverse, multi-state workforce, lead a small but mighty team, and serve as the organization's go-to payroll expert.
What you'll be doing
- Running a smooth, accurate payroll operation from start to finish.
- Leveraging your Workday expertise to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborating closely with HR, Benefits, and Finance to keep everything in sync.
- Guiding and mentoring team members to grow their skills and confidence.
What we're looking for
5+ years of payroll leadership experience, including at least 3 years with Workday Payroll.Experience with multi-state payroll and processing payroll for 1000+ employees.Healthcare experience is a bonus but not required.Knowledge of M&A integrations – integrating acquired companies payroll systems – is a plus.Experience with various payroll complexities including multi-entities, hourly, salary, bonuses, OT, weekly payroll, multi-state, etc.A strong grasp of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.A collaborative, solutions-focused approach to work.Seniority level
