JOB SUMMARY : The Operations Support Specialist provides essential support across both supply chain and manufacturing functions. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in operations, with hands on exposure to ERP systems, production data, and cross functional coordination. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, tech savvy and eager to learn in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Create and maintain item numbers, BOMs (Bill of Materials) and BOOs (bill of operations) in the ERP system.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across product and process records.
  • Assist with order entry, confirmations and tracking.
  • Generate reports on inventory, production status and order performance.
  • Support date collections for KPIs and operational metrics
  • Support data collectiion for KPIs and operational metrics.
  • Work closely with supply chain, engineering and production teams to support daily operations.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and system updates.
  • Provide administrative support for operational projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
  • Preferred (but not required) :

  • Internship or coursework related to supply chain or manufacturing
  • Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Epicor or NetSuite
  • Basic understanding or manufacturing processes or product lifecycle.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT : This role is primarily office-based. The position requires extended periods of sitting, using a computer and phone.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must be able to lift and / or move items over 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
