This position plays a major role in the hotel's Food & Beverage experience. The Spirit to Serve is a key element in a positive customer experience. This position is responsible for greeting guests at the door. The host / hostess seats and presents clean menus to guests in a friendly, professional and quick manner.

Schedule : We are currently seeking morning part-time availability to include both weekdays and weekend for our breakfast service!

Pay : $15.97 / hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests, informs them of any specials
• Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations
• Runs the floor plan board
• Observes tables and keeps track of clean, dirty and occupied tables
• Takes guest information and quotes wait times to guests accurately when tables are not immediately available
• Cleans, organizes and stocks menus at host area
• Answers phone and answers questions concerning the menu and restaurant
• Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
• Maintains specific side-work and ensures the cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
• Quickly clears and resets tables
• Maintains restaurant, bar, and restroom space cleanliness restrooms throughout shift
• Sweeps foyer and front entrance area frequently
• Fills to-go orders, if applicable
• Knows when to escalate situations for management intervention
• Completes other tasks and duties as assigned based on business needs
