Cyber Security Regulatory AND Compliance Lead (Stamford)

Insight Global is looking for a Cybersecurity Regulatory and Compliance Lead to join a large reinsurance client. This Lead will be within Security IT Governance, Risk and Compliance team and they will work to ensure that operations meet global regulatory requirements. This role will need to develop, implement and manage the organizations cybersecurity programs. They will do this by adhering to laws and standards and doing risk assessments to mitigate security risks. This role will be a lot of monitoring and interpreting regulatory requirements, staying up to date on them, identifying gaps and developing roadmaps to achieve compliance as well as maintaining documentation and reporting. When this lead begins, they will mainly be focused on NYDFS and should have prior experience with this regulation. This role will be tracking 4-5 new requirements for NYDFS that they need to comply with. Ultimately this role will work to help the team with a layout and look at the inventory of regulatory bodies they need to comply with, create a list of the new things coming and what they need to plan for, then doing an assessment of the most important regulations to identify gaps. Ultimately, they may make this into a program to give management confidence from a regulatory perspective. Pay is around 65-75 / hr

• 10+ years experience as a Cybersecurity Regulatory and Compliance Lead
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining security compliance programs
• 3+ years of recent experience working with with NYDFS regulation
• Strong recent experience working on Global Regulations (DORA, BaFin, NY DFS)
• Experience conducting risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance to regulations
• Recent experience meeting with regulators, communicating with the directly and knowing what to / what not say and translating to the CISO
• Several years of proven experience developing roadmaps to achieve compliance to regulations and planning for future regulations
