Account Manager
Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) is seeking an Account Manager to join the U.S. Benefits Account Management department. The Account Manager will need to build and maintain effective relationships with a defined customer base to ensure a high level of satisfaction. In addition, the Account Manager will :
- Be responsible for achieving assigned account objectives
- Represent the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company
- Serve as the primary contact for agents and sales representatives once the sale of a new account is completed
- Be responsible for the set-up and implementation of new accounts
- Be responsible for meeting deadlines, producing a quality work product in a fast-paced environment, and providing positive team participation and support
Represent company products and services to assigned customers
Provide insurance-related tasks in servicing and obtaining accounts, ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are metAnswer client calls concerning all service issues and product queries quickly, efficiently, and accuratelyCreate policy books and informationBe responsible for the set-up and implementation of new accounts
Process new business, renewals, policy changes, and cancellationsPrepare new and renewal client submissions and proposalsPrepare, file, and retrieve sales-related documents, such as contractsEnsure accuracy prior to submittal on new or renewal businessAssist in the maintenance and input of account information of the sales databasePrepare and authorize ID cards and other fulfillment materialsProcess policy change requestsProvide weekly enrollment results, after-sales support to retain customers, and set new hire campaign strategyPrepare post enrollment summary reportsServe as primary contact for agents and sales representatives for new accounts
Communicate with agents and sales reps to gather necessary supporting documentation for new and existing groups, and report account statusCheck policies against Proposal / Application for accuracy and complete checklist, updating as needed by making any necessary changesProvide positive team participation and support
Serve as back-up to Senior Account ManagersAttend meetings, calls, and demos for the Account Management TeamLiaise with internal teams and team members to ensure proper pre- and post-sales / account servicePerform other duties as required and / or assignedEducation & Experience :
2 years of insurance, customer service, or comparable experienceBachelor's degree preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs) :
