Job Title : Full-Time Dietary Cook
Division / Program : Crisis Residential Unit
Starting Compensation : 17.11 - 20.00 USD Per Hour
Working Location : Inpatient facility in Merced, CA
Working Hours / Shift : Sunday to Thursday 6 am - 2 : 30 pm

What You Bring to SBHG :
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.One (1) year dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred.Knowledge of and experience preparing therapeutic diets preferred. Or, Six (6) months housekeeping experience in a hospital, hotel, motel or similar work environment.License or Certification Valid California Driver's LicenseHow You Will Make a Difference :
Prepares food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus.Maintains logs such as cleaning logs, temperature logs, etc.Cleans and disinfect kitchen and other facility areas.Conducts and assists both large and small activity groups.Assists in teaching and educating clients in ADLs.Transports clients as needed in facility vehicle.Division / Program Overview :
24 / 7 inpatient voluntary program16-bed facility for adults (ages 18-59)Rehabilitation / recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation servicesPre-vocational or vocational counselingMedication evaluation and support services
