In the role of Water Business Group Area Professional Services Leader, you'll be a key leader in our thriving Southern California WBG, providing leadership and mentoring across our organization. We'll count on you to :

• Be responsible to the WBG Area Manager to develop, coordinate, monitor and improve technical competencies of area staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers
• Lead and monitor development and training of area staff in technical and business competencies
• Oversee workload balancing and ensure qualified staffing of project teams
• Lead quality assurance efforts to implement QA / QC Program activities striving for continuous improvement
• Monitor project QC Review activities including assignment of experienced and qualified reviewers
• Lead and monitor activities for continuous improvement including development and use of technical standards, procedures, best practices and lessons learned
• Lead and participate in project reviews and support project teams with management of claims and losses
• Lead the WBG Area mentoring initiative
• Oversee technical and digital delivery evolution, in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Work with WBGAM to streamline and coordinate business processes consistent with Area, corporate policy and MOA
• Oversee and ensure implementation of quality, standards, and best practices
• Provide leadership to assigned business class leaders, including the cross-sector leaders
• Collaborate with WBG Area operations, market sectors, business classes, and delivery leaders
• Participate in WBG Area strategic planning and plan implementation
• Support area activities related to hiring and retaining key staff
• Serve as a champion for BGX opportunities
• Support communication and coordination within all business groups
• Perform other duties as needed

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) San Diego : $173,000 - $247,000
