The 2nd Shift Plant Supervisor oversees production operations in a manufacturing facility during the second shift. This role is responsible for managing the production process, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, overseeing sanitation procedures, and coordinating maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in food manufacturing, and a commitment to achieving production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and sanitation.

• Production Management :

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the second and third shift to meet production targets and quality standards.

Ensure all sanitation procedures and guidelines are followed, meeting or exceeding company standards and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

Lead and develop a team of production and sanitation employees, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.

Enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA standards.

Identify areas for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains, and collaborate with other departments to implement best practices.
