Role : Full Stack .Net Developer

Location : Pittsburgh, PA (Remote)

Type : Contract

Description :

  • Implement the OSCAR Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable electronic batch records (EBR) with integration to equipment and OCPLM for the CSD Frederick Manufacturing site.

Justification :

  • The EBR implementation is essential to :
  • Mitigate batch record related errors.
  • Automate the capture of batch records for easier access and a clear audit trail.
  • Enhance efficiency by reducing manufacturing lead times.
  • Role Scope / Deliverables

    The development resource will :

  • Perform full-stack development for project requirements under the Scrum methodology.
  • Build solutions scalable across multiple sites within the organization.
  • Collaborate with vendor teams already familiar with customized TrackSYS implementations in TFS to shorten development timelines.
  • Leverage vendor ties with Parsec (the maker of TrackSYS) to fully utilize the system's capabilities.
  • Key Skills & Individual Experience

    Required Qualifications :

  • Full Stack Development (5+ years) : Extensive experience in designing and building enterprise-grade applications across back-end, front-end, and database layers.
  • Object-Oriented Programming (5+ years) : Strong proficiency in C#, applying OOP principles to create scalable, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • SQL Development (5+ years) : Skilled in writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and optimizations for MS SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Front-End Frameworks (4+ years) : Hands-on expertise in building responsive and dynamic UIs using Angular and React.
  • UI / UX Frameworks (4+ years) : Practical experience using Angular Material and Bootstrap for building user-friendly, consistent interfaces.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • TrackSYS MES (3+ years) : Experience with TrackSYS versions 10 13 in development, customization, and integration.
  • MES / Manufacturing Systems (3+ years) : Exposure to manufacturing execution systems (MES) in life sciences or manufacturing domains.
  • Agile / Scrum (3+ years) : Working within Agile teams, using tools like Jira, TFS, or Azure DevOps for backlog management and sprint delivery.
  • Problem-Solving (5+ years) : Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
  • Collaboration (5+ years) : Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT, manufacturing, and vendor teams.
  • Other Skills & Abilities
  • Analytical & Troubleshooting (5+ years) : Strong ability to resolve technical issues quickly with attention to detail.
  • Communication (5+ years) : Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Time Management (5+ years) : Skilled at managing multiple priorities, deadlines, and development deliverables.
  • Ownership & Accountability (5+ years) : Ability to take initiative, drive solutions, and ensure quality outcomes.
  • Teamwork (5+ years) : Contribute as a collaborative team member while independently handling tasks.
  • Education :

  • Required : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • Preferred : Master's degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Certifications :
  • Microsoft Certified : C# Developer or Azure Developer (preferred).
  • Scrum / Agile certification (CSM, PSM) a plus.
  • MES-related vendor certifications (TrackSYS, Camstar) highly desirable.
