POSITION SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Representative supports the companys industrial sales operations by

managing inbound and outbound sales communications, qualifying leads, preparing quotes,

and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role works closely with

Outside Sales, Sales Management, and Operations to ensure a smooth customer experience,

achieve sales goals, and contribute to regional profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels

Proactively make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to generate

sales opportunities

Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and bids in coordination with Outside

Sales

Support the sales team with lead qualification and appointment setting

Track customer interactions in CRM and maintain accurate sales records

Assist in upselling and cross-selling products and services to current customers

Collaborate with operations to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery

Maintain comprehensive product knowledge to effectively communicate value

propositions

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred)

2+ years of sales or customer service experience in an industrial or B2B environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Technical aptitude for learning industrial equipment applications

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Base Salary : $55,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience

Monthly KPI Bonus Available

Benefits : Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, and an IRA retirement plan with

company contribution, paid vacation and holidays, ongoing sales and product training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, especially during

meetings, presentations, and while operating a vehicle.

Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch during site visits or

equipment inspections.

Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds, such as promotional materials, product

samples, or equipment
