Position Summary :

We are seeking a motivated individual to learn and operate up to six automated CNC machines used to sharpen carbide saw blades. This position plays a critical role in maintaining quality, productivity, and safety in our manufacturing process.

Essential Functions :

  • Operate and monitor CNC machines to sharpen carbide saw blades according to print specifications.
  • Inspect blades during and after processing to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, greasing, and replacing cutting wheels.
  • Maintain smooth workflow by ensuring proper material flow through the production area.
  • Accurately complete all required production and quality control documentation.
  • Communicate material shortages to appropriate team members promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 6S and housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and uphold company policies and ethical standards.

Required Skills and Competencies :

  • Mechanical Aptitude : Strong understanding of general machinery and production processes.
  • Blueprint Reading : Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Measurement Proficiency : Capable of using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Quick Learner : Ability to quickly understand and retain complex machine setup procedures.
  • Attention to Detail : Committed to producing high-quality work with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills : Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
  • Time Management : Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ethical Conduct : Adheres to company policies and maintains a strong sense of integrity and professionalism.
