Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This fully onsite position is offered as a contract to permanent opportunity, providing an excellent pathway for career growth and skill enhancement. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of accounting experience and a strong foundation in US GAAP, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and post journal entries in alignment with US GAAP standards and company policies.
• Reconcile various accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and accruals, on a monthly basis.
• Support month-end and quarter-end closing processes by ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct variance analysis and assist in the preparation of management reports to provide actionable insights.
• Maintain detailed schedules for balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure data accuracy.
• Assist in documenting internal controls and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations teams to validate expense allocations and revenue recognition processes.
• Address inquiries from internal stakeholders, auditors, and management regarding financial matters.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects, including system integrations and upgrades, as needed.
