Overview
Rachel’s Young at Art Studio is a Reggio-inspired children’s art studio serving ages 18 months – 9 years through process-based classes, camps, and creative events. We’re looking for a Studio Manager to support daily operations, lead staff, and help our programs run smoothly — combining creativity, organization, and heart.
This role is ideal for someone who loves working in a hands-on, joyful environment and is ready to take the next step in leadership. You’ll oversee scheduling, communication, and logistics while ensuring our programs continue to provide a safe, positive, and enriching experience for every child.
What You’ll Do
- Support and supervise instructors and program coordinators during classes, camps, and parties
- Manage scheduling, inventory, and studio organization
- Lead staff meetings and help maintain studio systems and checklists
- Communicate with parents, handle inquiries, and ensure high-quality customer care
- Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of part-time and seasonal team members
- Collaborate on creative projects, seasonal programming, and event execution
- Step in where needed to maintain the studio’s warm, welcoming environment
Who You Are
A positive, dependable leader with strong communication and organizational skillsExperienced working with children (ideally in art, camp, or education settings)Able to balance structure with flexibility in a busy, creative spaceSkilled at multitasking, problem-solving, and supporting a team with kindness and accountabilityComfortable managing logistics and fostering a calm, professional tone in fast-paced momentsWhat We Offer
