As a Security Professional - Government Patrol Rounds in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for all. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized individuals.Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.Assist visitors and residents with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site policies.Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure environment.What We're Looking For :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.A valid guard card or license is preferred.Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
