Job Title : Regional Maintenance Technician

Employment Type : Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

For over 35 years, Rivermont Schools has provided therapeutic education to students ages 5-22 in grades K-12 who have autism spectrum disorder (ASD), behavioral challenges, or learning difficulties in traditional school settings. Your Role as a Regional Maintenance Technician :

Work Orders & Repairs – Receive, prioritize, and complete work orders in the CMMS system (UpKeep). Perform general maintenance across HVAC / MEP, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting / drywall, doors / locks, and minor roofing. Document work and parts used.

Preventive Maintenance & Safety – Carry out PM schedules and inspections, identify hazards, and support compliance with safety, fire, and health regulations.

Emergency & On-Call Support – Respond to occasional evening, weekend, or urgent facility needs.

Travel – Provide support across assigned sites; mileage reimbursement available.

Other Duties – Perform additional tasks as assigned to maintain safe and well-functioning facilities.

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required; trade / vocational training and relevant certifications preferred.

Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC / MEP, electrical, plumbing) and OSHA / Fire / Health basics.

Ability to read work orders, interpret manuals / schematics, troubleshoot, and close tasks timely.

Proficiency with email, CMMS / work-order systems (Currently UpKeep), and basic spreadsheets.

Work Conditions & Requirements

Frequent walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), climbing ladders, and working in mechanical spaces.

Valid driver’s license : ability to travel between sites assigned.
