Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a 12-week assignment requiring an active license and BLS certification in a mixed outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a rehabilitation therapy department with 60-70% outpatient and 30-40% inpatient, swing bed, and home health caseloads
  • Monday to Friday schedule, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm
  • Physical Therapy Assistant sub-modality focus
  • Spanish language skills are a plus
  • Responsibilities include treating both inpatient and outpatient clients in various rehabilitation settings
  • Work alongside a collaborative therapy team

    • Requirements

  • Current active Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) license required if applicable
  • Current BLS / BCLS certification required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
