Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary : Registered Nurse Operating Room provide essential surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery. This role includes serving as a patient educator, circulating nurse, and / or scrub nurse. Circulating nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field, while scrub nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.\n\nResponsibilities : \nAssess, plan, and implement nursing care for surgical patients throughout all phases of surgery.^Serve as a patient educator, providing information and support to patients and their families.^Function as a circulating nurse, managing the overall environment of the operating room.^Prepare and handle operating instruments and equipment as a scrub nurse within the sterile field.^Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective surgical outcomes.^Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to all surgical protocols and guidelines.
