Labor & Delivery Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 18 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Additional Details :

Types of Patients on Unit : Patient Types : High Risk ob, antepartum, c-sections, vaginal deliveries.

Special Requests : No 1st time travelers, must have completed one travel contract in previous 12 mos.

Shift & Scheduling : Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend & Holiday rotation if scheduled. On Call Requirements : None.

2025 Holidays :

Winter holidays : Required to work 2 of 3 (Christmas, New Years, or Thanksgiving)

Limit of 1 day request off between 11 / 26 / 25-11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25-1 / 2 / 26 for all travelers regardless of holidays worked.

Unit Info :

Floating Requirements : May float to MB / PP. May float across all campuses to Maternity / L&D units. Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist.

7 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 2 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission

Driver's license required for submission
