About The Position

Position Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and comfort. The technologist will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results and timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.

Position and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and proper imaging techniques.

Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to quality control standards.

Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy before submission to radiologists.

Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards at all times.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the EMR system.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients and families throughout the imaging process.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience : Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience – Required

Certification : ARRT – Required

Other : Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
