Job Title : Senior Golang Developer

Duration : 12 Months (Possibility of Extension)

Location : Plano TX 75024 (Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Golang Developer with a proven track record in architecting and deploying robust, cloud-native solutions on AWS. In this onsite role, you’ll collaborate closely with a Technical Architect and take the lead in guiding an offshore engineering team. The right candidate brings advanced knowledge of Golang microservices, MongoDB, Kubernetes, observability tools (OpenTelemetry and Datadog), and modern CI / CD practices.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and architect Golang-based microservices using Gorilla Mux and gRPC frameworks
• Manage large-scale data operations with MongoDB, focusing on indexing and schema optimization
• Take ownership of the entire application lifecycle on AWS, including API Gateway, Lambda, EKS, EC2, and S3
• Develop and maintain containerized environments with Docker and Helm
• Implement comprehensive observability with OpenTelemetry, exporting metrics and logs to Datadog
• Lead and enhance CI / CD workflows using GitLab and GitHub Actions
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis
• Mentor offshore developers, fostering quality and best practices throughout the team
