Job Description A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Hematology / Oncology Physician within an outpatient clinic setting in Cooperstown, NY. Provide specialized care in both hematology and oncology, supported by a team comprising a physician and nurse practitioner onsite. The schedule involves a full-time commitment with flexible start dates and an ongoing duration until a permanent hire is made. Provide care consistent with professional standards in collaboration with the onsite medical team. Perform procedures such as bone marrow tests, as applicable. Qualifications Must have an active NY medical license. Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology is required. Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is preferred. Working Hours Full-time schedule with shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday. Skills Proficiency in diagnosing and treating hematologic and oncologic conditions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with the support team. Ability to handle both benign and malignant hematology cases. Housing and travel stipends can be discussed for non-local candidates.
