Title : HVAC Supervisor

Locations

Hours : M-F; 6 : 00 am report time

  • Expect 50 hour work week
  • Will make OT on anything above 40 hours
  • Must be available some weekends / on call for emergencies

Background : Standard background check, Drug Test, and MVR (driving record)

Pay Rate : $95K-$97K

Project Overview :

Insight Global is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to support operations for our client on a large university campus. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial HVAC systems and leadership experience in facilities management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee a team of 2 HVAC technicians and 2 maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient daily operations and high-quality service delivery. (team is growing)
  • Manage and maintain commercial boilers and chillers, including :
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and diagnostics
  • System inspections and performance optimization
  • Coordinate with external vendors for scheduling, service delivery, and system upgrades; provide recommendations based on site needs and performance data.
  • Operate within a ticketing system to manage work orders, track progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Serve as a client-facing and employee-facing leader, fostering strong communication, accountability, and collaboration across teams.
  • Must Haves :

  • Not job hoppy- showing career growth / internal promotion on resume
  • Experienced reading and interpreting BAS systems
  • 5 years of experience in large commercial or residential (apartment complexes, etc) HVAC systems
  • Preferably at the journeyman, master, or stationary engineer level
  • Extensive experience with commercial boilers and chillers
  • Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and inspecting systems
  • Experienced working with vendors
  • Coordinating and scheduling work as well as making recommendations
  • Experienced leading a team- scheduling, assigning work orders, training (some), holding team members accountable
  • Client facing
  • Experienced working in a ticket system
