Associate Director, Global Events Program

We're looking for an Associate Director to lead GEP's global events program. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set strategy while also managing the details that make events successful. You'll oversee our most important client- and prospect-facing moments from our annual summit to trade shows and regional programs working closely with colleagues across marketing, sales, business development and client services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Planning : Develop overarching events program, and implement the strategy for each event, including theme, positioning, team resourcing, activities, and budget. Ensure events support our marketing, sales, and lead generation goals.
  • Execution & Logistics : Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of our events, including our client summit, trade shows, conferences, and webinars. Manage vendor relationships, budgets, reporting, and on-site activities.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration : Lead the GEP events team, and coordinate with regional marketing leaders to deliver a unified global program. Partner with leaders in sales, business development, and client services to ensure alignment and follow-up before, during, and after each event.
  • Marketing Integration : Own the events calendar, ensuring promotions and initiatives are integrated with digital, social, and content campaigns. Track performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
  • Leadership Contribution : Serve as part of GEP's marketing leadership team, contributing to the overall strategy, growth, and direction of the company's marketing efforts.

What You Should Bring

  • 7+ years of marketing and events experience, ideally in B2B, SaaS, or professional services.
  • Strong track record building and executing successful event strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate across functions, and manage vendors.
  • Clear communicator who can balance creative ideas with data-driven decision making.
  • Salary Range : $140,000 $160,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation : Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.

Benefits : Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision), 401(k) plan with a 3% company match, paid time off, company holidays, and professional development opportunities.
