Warren State Hospital is eager to welcome a dependable, compassionate, hard working Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to provide psychiatric behavioral / mental health treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness at our inpatient psychiatric Commonwealth facility. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing psychiatric problems and coordinating care for the psychiatric in-patient in accordance with Warren State Hospital Policies, State and Federal rules and regulations, and the nurse practitioner standards of care. This includes assessment of psychiatric status, diagnosis, development of plan of treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient psychiatric status.
Teamwork and effective communication skills are essential as clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members and under the collaboration / supervision of the Chief of Psychiatry. Decisions regarding patient care are made within the scope of CRNP and in accordance with WSH Policies and Procedures.
