Responsibilities and Duties
As an accounting system implementation consultant (for such applications as Sage Intacct, Sage 100) you will :
- Assess client system functional requirements, develop innovative solutions that cross various business operations and implement these plans along with providing services to existing and prospective clients;
- Provide consulting, support services and training for clients; and
- Identify opportunities for new and existing clients and assist with sales process, project management and cross-team project work as-needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to develop a deep understanding of business accounting software NCA sells, re-sells, implements (including Sage Intacct, Intuit QuickBooks and related products);Experience implementing ERP Software (i.e. Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Fathom, Bill, etc.); strong skills in business consulting, including analysis related to business process, business systems, and technology supporting these processes and systems;Experience and skills in accounting or financial reporting processes; Experience with Unanet preferredSpecific account knowledge (GL-AP-AR) as well as flow charting capabilities using applications such as Microsoft Visio and integrating bolt on support software;Demonstrated ability to communicate and use influencing skills and industry, accounting, and product knowledge to lead the prospect / client to achieve a ideal level of optimization, utilization, and adoption of the solution in line with the prospect / client business goalsDemonstrated ability of critical thinking, problem recognition and definition, as well as problem solving skills; andDemonstrated ability to interact with prospect / client users, stakeholders, management and leadership in the appropriate manner.Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, MIS or related field; 3+ years’ experience in accounting, business, consulting or a related setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA or CMA designation not required but preferred.
