Solder / Assembly Technician

Location : Pearland, TX

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 45 PM

Pay Rate :

  • $16.00 – $17.50 / hour (with soldering experience)
  • $15.00 – $16.50 / hour (with mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn)

Position Summary :

The Solder / Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, soldering, and inspecting components used in welding equipment and related products. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a commitment to consistent attendance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform soldering on small components and assemblies using hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble parts accurately.
  • Conduct basic quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Exhibit reliability and consistent attendance — especially within the first 90 days of employment.

    • Qualifications :

  • Experience :

    • Prior soldering experience preferred.

  • Mechanical aptitude required — experience with small tools, assembly, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Requirements :

    • Valid driver’s license ( no exceptions )

  • Clean background – no offenses ever
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
