Job Details

Position : UI Developer

Location : Jackson, MS – onsite or remote with occasional travel

Duration : 6 month contract to hire

Rate / Salary Range : $60-70 an hour

Position Overview

Apex Systems, a World-Class Technology Solutions Provider, is seeking applicants for the below position on behalf of our client. Please apply if interested and qualified. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Responsibilities

  • Design System Development : Build reusable UI components and patterns using Blazor Server, contributing to a scalable design system that supports dozens of applications.
  • Front-End Architecture : Help architect and implement the front-end structure for applications with a strong emphasis on usability, accessibility, and performance.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship : Guide junior designers and developers, offering technical mentorship and code reviews.
  • Agile Collaboration : Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring alignment with design and development milestones.
  • Cross-Functional Communication : Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and external design partners to translate design concepts into functional interfaces.
  • Milestone Delivery : Contribute to key deliverables including component libraries, documentation, and production-ready UI modules.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Blazor Server Expertise : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building applications with Blazor Server.
  • Design System Experience : Proven track record of working within or building a design system, including component creation and documentation.
  • UI Fundamentals : Strong grasp of user interface principles, including layout, typography, responsiveness, and accessibility.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing interactivity and integrating with Blazor.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks for UI components.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
