Description
The Events Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and executing eMoney's event planning initiatives including industry conferences, client events, hosted gatherings, an annual virtual user conference, and webinars. This role reports directly to the VP of Growth Marketing and oversees a high performing team of Event Planning professionals. The Manager, Events uses feedback to drive continuous improvement, implement corrective action plans, and recommend innovative event strategies. This highly visible role requires creative thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration to drive eMoney's brand presence, customer engagement, and pipeline growth through effective event experiences.
Job Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, and oversee a variety of partnerships, programs, and events aligned with eMoney's strategic objectives, focusing on the right mix of events to sponsor, recommending new events and activations, and enhancing webinar strategy.
- Proactively manage all stages of event initiatives, from concept to evaluation, with the goals of attracting new audiences, increasing customer engagement, and raising brand awareness.
- Lead the execution of The Summit, eMoney's annual virtual user conference, including vendor management, sponsorship outreach, speaker recruitment, internal alignment, and performance reporting.
- Evaluate and recommend high-value industry events and sponsorships that enhance our presence among key audiences - advisors and enterprises.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of event professionals by providing mentorship, project oversight, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (including Leadership, Sales, Product, and Marketing) to align messaging, target account engagement, event staffing, and pre / post-event campaigns.
- Source and manage relationships with external partners and vendors (e.g., event platforms, exhibit vendors, printers), ensuring quality, timeliness, and ROI.
- Negotiate costs and services with vendors; book event space; arrange food and beverage, order all supplies and decor; coordinate audiovisual equipment & operation.
- Define success metrics for each event, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to improve future events.
- Oversee the development of processes for repeatability and scalability of events.
- Own and manage event budgets to maximize ROI and resource efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in B2B events with a proven track record of planning and executing successful events.2+ years of managing a team of event marketersExperience managing both in-person and virtual events.Demonstrated experience proactively managing multiple projects and / or events simultaneously.Data-savvy mindset with experience analyzing event performance and tying activities to pipeline and revenue.Ability to travel as needed to support on-site event execution.Skills

This position is also eligible, pursuant to applicable eMoney policies, for the annual bonus program, retirement contributions, health insurance, sick leave, parental leave and paid time off.
